Orientation Day~!

Time flies, in a blink of an eye, 3 weeks of temporary work passed and today is my orientation day at Raffles Design Institute.

It was nice working with Lynn, Konstanze and friends. And I won't forget the cheese cake from Daisy! Heez! ^^

Today orientation day starts at 8.30am, so gotta woke up at 6.45am. Long time didn't woke up before 7am already, lucky I slept early yesterday. All I can say is so far so good, I think I should be able to pass the English exams. There are A LOT and I mean A LOT of foreigners, I think this whole July'07 batch only have 15% of the students who are Singaporeans only, or even lesser. -.-"

I met Indonesians, Koreans, Taiwanese, and Chinese yah, I mean those from China. Managed to chat up with a few, with the same opening question, "Hi, where are you from?". LOL. Probably cause we all seem not to be from the same country. Monday class starts at 9.30am, yeah, I am mentally prepared, our course director is still okay, just hope everyone can get along well. Oh ya, my class only have 2 guys including me! Reminds me of the Nursing times yah. o.O

2 years... will pass very fast... It's now finally time to study hard! Gambatte ne! XD

Yeah~! Found a temporary job at Shenton Way last week. It's a telemarketing job and the pay is not bad too. =D The people there is friendly, like Lynn, she really takes care of the newcomers and I have no problem working there. Today is an off day for me as her project was finished last week, so shall continue again either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Some updates on pass few days.

Watched Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, yes, it is nice, I LOVE Superheroes movies, BUT, I only watch Superheroes and action movies of the English Language. I can say my top 3 movies genres is first action follow by thriller and lastly romance. I HATE COMEDIES especially English Comedies because they are super senseless. Or rather a waste of money. The next movie that I'm going to watch should be Die Hard 4.0, yeah action movie again!

Went Teo Heng. In case you don't know Teo Heng is a karaoke music centre where you can rent rooms to sing karaoke. In easier terms it is something like Kbox lah, just that it is way cheaper. Kbox's price is exorbitant, S$30+ per person on Sat, that's holy shit. I think we are practically going TH every weekend for the past few months, ha, even the shop owner remembers my name already. XD

I'm finally back to civilian world after seven hundred and thirty days! =D

Life's great, been enjoying myself lately with HeatS' as usual. School's starting on the 9th of July, man, I really need to find a temporary job! I'm running out of cash and I'm actually surviving on my savings as for now. And yeah, I know this is not gonna last. =(

Got my hair bleached and blond ON THE DAY of my ORD, fierce right? LOL. Alot of friends said that too. Shall be keeping it long because no one can force me to cut short anymore! HAHA!

Bought a new phone too. Softbank 707SC, if you have no idea what is it, go google. It's sooo chio lah the design and the slimness of it. =)

KTSC CNY Celebration

Today didn't went to camp because KTSC is having a Chinese New Year celebration at Yishun SAFRA Country Club. Yes, you might be thinking, 'oh today is which day already now then celebrate CNY?', it's the 12th day of CNY already! Ha. At least it's still within the first 15days, if not I really don't know what to say. ^^

Reached Yishun MRT station at 8.20am, saw a few of my fellow camp mates meeting there too but when they started to leave for SAFRA I didn't followed them as I had to wait for this bugger HU XIAO XU. It's already 8.30am and he's still at Sembawang calling me asking me what's the program for today. -.-" No choice come to think of it he's from China, and even if I tell him the venue is at Yishun SAFRA he wouldn't know what or where the hell was it. Explain the way to him? Hell no, that's a waste of my precious blood, I rather wait for him at the train station.

Good thing while waiting I saw Ridzman waiting for Khairul too, great, we can all go together cause actually I don't know the way to Yishun SAFRA. LOL! =X Yeah so after everyone reached 4 of us walked our way from Yishun MRT to Yishun SAFRA which was around a 20 minutes walk. Raining since yesterday, the trouble of carrying an umbrella with you is there. Worse still my jeans got so wet that I had to fold up from a long pair of jeans to a 7 quart pair. XD

It provides all the info you guys need, from skin care to make-up and hair styling to dressing up, and this guy Chen Yi also includes some of his own photo shots. Interested can go get a copy and read what is pretty boys all about.

Speaking about pretty boys on last Saturday night at Heeren I saw 2 guys which were consider the 'Pretty Boys' category. 1 is still alright, though already very pretty look, but the other 1 is like 'Oh my God!', flawless face, my all-time favourite hairdo, and a very proportionate physique, what's more judging from the way he dress can see that he has good fashion sense! Looking pretty is 1 thing, I hope he's not gay, let's not let the people around us have this mentality of pretty boys are all gays okay.

We still love girls, that's for sure. HAHAHA! ^^

Music Forest Advanced Course!

It's been 3-4 weeks since my dance lesson ended, and that concludes my intermediate course. I've been waiting for the new term to start, but seems that no one wanna continue the dance that's why the hold up.

Initially from 7 people including me to the 4 people now, I guess more are leaving the group this time round again. Work commitments I guess, it might be a waste as we won't be able to dance together again, but it's great knowing them. I have always believe in Fate. =D

Sasha was saying that the new class will most probably start around end of Feb, I'm hoping to meet new dancers again, and most importantly is that we are able to click well.

This term is the last term already, I must try to absorb as much as possible. From the first lesson in Music Forest till now, XKLS has been giving me the same comment over and over again, and that is, using of brute force in dance. Yes I know what it means but I personally think that that's not brute force, it's erm... how to say... my style or rather my feeling in the dance. Or even perhaps the type of dance that XKLS is teaching is just not my type. Anyway, the song that they're using this comming term is Rain's 'It's raining' if I'm not wrong. I think I'm more suitable for this song because previously the songs were all in English and I don't really like them.

Yah, so, let's just wait for the new term to start!

For God's sake, can you people stop being so obsessed with CARS!

Let me tell you all this, car is not everything. So what if you rent a car now after getting your license? IT'S STILL A RENTED CAR! If you're really good how about you earn your own money and buy one? Can you all understand my feeling? I seriously don't understand how you guys think, yes having a car is good, for convenient transportation but the thing is, IT IS NOT A MUST TO HAVE A CAR! If you can afford it good, if not, then stay with buses and MRTs. What's wrong with taking buses and MRTs? Shameful?

Sigh, I really wanna vomit blood. God please help these people and clear their mind. Amen.

Today is Monday, the 1st of January, 2007. Woah, in a blink of an eye 2006 is History. Yesterday went Kbox with HeatS', and we did our countdown at Esplanade. Watched the fireworks and people were everywhere, somehow it looks some sort like a riot more than a celebration! LOL.

Yeah, finally log into my blog account to add in new post! -.-

Feeling sooo tired now, can't feel the energy inside me. Probably due to the lack of sleep yesterday night. Yesterday slept at around 1.30am and gotta wake up at 5am, no wonder for the whole of today I can't seem to feel energetic.

I must say up to this point of my life, there will slightly be a change again. You know, everyone will have either minor or major changes to their life during their whole lives. Alright, so what's this change about my life? Ever since Shiba gotten his car driving license we, (HeatS') have been taking rides from his car to wherever that we are going.

We will definitely be taking fewer buses and MRTs rides, that's for sure. But, hmmm, it sure has it's advantages but come to think of it, everything has its pros and cons. People do change, now everyone seems to be so 'car-faced', modifies from the term 'money-faced', whether you want to meet up or not, depends on whether is there transport.
I know this is a very realistic world, what's more depressing is that we can't do anything to change about it.

*sigh* I know I'm getting a lil far-fetched, don't know what am I talking about.

Let's change subject.

Erm... VERY and I mean VERY SICK & TIRED of ARMY life, I'm left with less than 7 months. Although you may say it will pass in the blink of an eye but 7 months IS STILL 7 months! Can't wait to get back to student life or working life, whatever it is is still better than being an Army boy. ORD haven't comes and I'm thinking about reservists, 10 years! Oh my f***king God! DAMN IT!

Anyway, I was actually thinking what made me to blog out of a sudden. It's been more than 4 months since I last blogged. LOL? =X I seriously have no idea, and from the last post which is 4 months ago till now, there's simply too much things to blog, I shall skip the time frame and just blog whatever comes to my mind now.

Army, families, friends, relationships, social circles, there's too many things to think about. And I'm really tired now, shall continue next time.

COSFEST V | The Reunion

Quite a lot of things to update, and here I am. =D

First of all, Cosfest was simply splendid! The place was nicely done up, at Downtown East D'Marquee. Ample space with stage, good music, fully air-conditioned and not forgetting it's free-of-charge! What more can you ask for? It was fun seeing all the cosplayers and their performances. They pose everywhere and cameras were shooting everywhere. It was very lively.

The only thing that I regret was didn't bring an additional battery and memory stick... If not I could have took more pictures... But nevertheless I still took quite a few nice photos which are worth keeping for future viewing. alien told me that this end of year there will be another Cosfest, I'm happy to know about it, cause somehow I have the urge to cosplay myself, lolx. But I cannot confirm now, although I knew I had to be quick cause it's just a couple of months away and I still needa prepare all the necessary costumes and accesories.

Oh ya, speaking about alien. Today he cosplayed! As one of the King Of Fighters character which I forgot the name, lol. I didn't know that he was into cosplaying too, but he definitely looks good I must say. The whole feel is there, just one word, great~ Looking at all the cosplayers today really made me have the urge to try cosplaying, should be fun... Both Rin and Satsuki-chan were also telling me that they wanna cosplay too, good, now all I have to do is to psycho alien to cosplay again this end of year.

Why I need to psycho him? He told me that cosplaying is expensive and you can't be wearing the same outfit for every festival... So... yah... hope I can change his mind in cosplaying at the end of the year so that we can all join together! LOL. Then all take pictures together! Lalala. Sounds sho fun. But yah, again everything is not confirm, let's just wait and see how.

Have been enlisted for one full year already finally, left one year more. 300+ days, God, please pass it as quickly as possible. I wanna be back to the society, be it study or working, in any way it's definitely better than staying in National Service. I'm seriously trying hard to figure out what's so good about signing up in the Army, *sigh*, exchanging your freedom for the money, I really wonder, is it worth it?

Yay tomorrow will be the Street Fest day at Cineleisure's Youth Park, I'm expecting to see tons of J-Rockers and Cosplayers. Shall be meeting up AYUNITERS! and I HOPE to see my Yumi-chan Jie Jie if possible, *lol*. Finally get to see her in real life. It's just not fair you see, she saw me in real life before and I didn't get to see her in real life. =/

Most probably for the whole of tomorrow I will be hanging out around Youth Park and Cine. Oh ya, the tickets for this week's Superband, I received them from Mediacorp already. Problem now is whether I wanna go or not, cause of this D'JParty thing. Maybe tomorrow then see how ba, you never know what's gonna happen at the very last minute. =D

Went to I.R.C with Shiba and Null today, played a straight 3+hours of DotA, now damn tired. :lol: Initially Shiba and I planned to go to the I.T show at Suntec Convention Centre, but in the end go Bugis a while for Ez2DJ and after that meet Null for DotA at Penninsula Plaza...

Bought my jacket at SUMAIRU finally, oh god the salesgirl is really sooo... kawaii~ Although Keigo-san is not around in the shop today, but luckily I still get a discount after the discounted member price! Good good good~ In another words the salesgirl just rules lah, wonder what's her name... Ahh what am I talking about. Bleahx. =P

So far so good, I've been transferred from AI's OFC to KTSC. 1SG Toh is not around cause he went for course and it's like Heaven for us at Signal Store, lolx. Well, good things just don't last, he will be back by July and we shall see what shit he has for us again. I haven't been listening to a single piece of good news from him since I attached to KTSC. I guess soon I will get a chance to taste what it's like under him. =/

2 more days! Man I'm just glad to say that the 2nd week was indeed passing faster than the 1st. Everyone is back to camp and more or less our stores have already packed finished. All the Sai Yok camp's stuffs have also returned, and now what's left is the Educational tour tomorrow and Monday before heading to the airbase. The aircon during the End-of-Frame dinner was spoilt, damn it we had a hot dinner again. -.-"

Just finished eating my dinner... Finally! Tomorrow will be the start of the 2nd week of my stay in Thailand. Time is really hard to pass by here and everyday I'm just doing the countdown for the boarding of the airplane back to Singapore. I'm left with 8 days here in this god-damn place and I hope that the 2nd week will breeze through faster than the first week...

I miss my family, my friends, my bed, my computer, my room, in fact everything! Starting to feel sick already cause probably I've not been sleeping well for the past week...

SAI YOK CAMP... 15 days of hell commence now...

Waiting for last parade now, finally finished 1 day out of the total of 15 days in Thailand... Just a few things that I wanna share. First of all the camp is so damn big, from our bunk to the canteen can take up to 10-15 minutes walk. We're not planning to eat in the cookhouse, so we had all our meals in the canteen today. The food in the canteen is still alright, I wouldn't say fantastic, but just simply edible. =/ Most important is that for just S$0.60 you can get a big glass of watermelon juice! Where in Singapore can you find watermelon juice with that price. -.-"

I guess the 3 things that I hate most are one, the toilet condition, come on, you don't wanna imagine let me tell you; two, there are bugs and flies everywhere; and lastly three the weather is really blazing hot in Thailand. Much hotter than in Singapore. There's never a minute you can go without sweating in Sai Yok camp.

My appointment in Sai Yok camp is to be the signaller in the OPs room. This means that I don't have to travel to Khao Meng camp which I heard that the living condition are worse! Lucky me... *phew* Tomorrow shall start our outfield exercise and it will last for about 7 days, after that will be the packing of stores for another 2 days. Before heading back to Singapore we will go on an Educational tour for 2 days to the various places in Thailand.

22nd of April is really a very good day for Hiro. Watched the movie 'Daisy' starring Jeon Ji Hyun and later Superband live at Mediacorp and get to take photo with Lucify.

Gotta leave home at 11pm for the airport. Will be going to Thailand for Army overseas training. Can't seem to bear with everyone and everything here. Including my family, my friends and everything thats dear to me.

15 days doesn't seem short or long, I just hope time pass as quickly as possible cause after I come back from overseas I will have many things to see to.

(P.S. The movie 'Daisy' is sooo nice~ Be it whether you are a Jeon Ji Hyun fan or not! =P)

FEI CHANG SUPERBAND Top 18 Finalists had a big jam performance at Suntec's Fountain of Wealth yesterday. All I can say is power sia. After the whole event ended at around 11pm I felt thought it's as if I just finished watching a live concert. *lol*

As the title goes, this post is about him.

Finally, after so long, we finally get to sit down with him as a group again to enjoy some 'over-expensive-beer'. You might be thinking why since I find it 'over expensive' and still we're heading over there for a drink, then my answer will be cause my dear's working there and I wanna go see her... Wahhaha. No lah, what crap am I talking about. It's because it's at Bugis and the place is very convinient for us to go to, plus the environment is quite nice too. *ahem* =P

Hmmm... The last time that we sat down together was erm... 3-4 months ago I guess. Well, he hasn't changed at all, still the same old Teck. The humour, the way he speaks, the laughter, everything. It's always good to see him again. =]

He told us that he has been busy with his work here and there and we have asked him out next week for another drink if his working schedule allows it.

Going off-topic. It's been sooo long since I last blog. A lot of things happened, and I'm just simply too lazy to update one by one. Maybe I will just talk about the most important thing to me, and it's 'Fei Chang SuperBand'.

2 months ago we joined 'Fei Chang SuperBand'. We managed to get through for the first audition but we couldn't get into top 18. *sigh* The comments that we received from the judges was though our dance are nice, our singing totally cannot make it. Initially when I heard of the comments given by the judges, my mind was thinking that we're done for. In the end the song for the 'SuperBand' came and all of us have a sign of relief...

1st audition is 'HEY-YOU!', 2nd audition is 'Tui Mo Lu'. Sad to say, we didn't made it with TML. I don't know whether is the problem still lies with our singing or the clothes that we're wearing. *lol* Just too bad, our dream of performing for our idol Milk is gone... Our 'Wu Xie Ke Ji'! No chance to perform anymore... =[

Okay, shall end here. Going to crap with mousey again. You don't know who's mousey? You don't ever wanna know, I tell you. She's full of nonsense and craps and you really can die out of it. Sometimes you just feel like popping out of her monitor and strangle her. Serious, it's true. ;)

HeatS' ENERGY fans gathering!

Hi everyone~

I'm currently organising a chalet to gather ENERGY fans that hope to learn their dance. Although we are not professional dancers/instructors, but we just hope to share around with what we know all about ENERGY's dance. The main purpose of this chalet is to let more people know how to dance ENERGY's dance, and of course not forgetting the interaction between the ENERGY fans.

We will be using 'HEY-YOU!' as the song that we will be teaching, so interested parties please form up a group of 4. As you all know, 'HEY-YOU!' is a dance specially made for 4 person. Thus there's a need for you all to form a group of 4 to take the 4 different roles.

If possible, have the 4 different people form in respectively to the members in ENERGY. (example. in your group right, 1 of you like Milk, 1 of you like KunDa, 1 of you like Ah Di and 1 of you like ShuWei, so that there won't be fights among the different roles)

There will also be a BBQ session in the evening, so that's the time when we can start exchanging our sentiments about ENERGY. =] You are required to bring along S$5 which will be spend on the food and neccessary items.

Time: 10am
Attire: Dress whatever you like. As long as you're comfortable with in.

Counting down 9 more days to POP! *lol* Finally, can take a break from all the trainings. Nowadays very busy, as you all know, NS men have limited time out in the civilian world. I shall start to blog more maybe after my POP.

More than a decade later, the boy (now grown-up and bittered) rediscovers the last recording of his long-dead lover's voice. Her words trigger a series of flashbacks illustrating the joyful beginning and tragic end of their relationship.

Thirty-something salaryman Saku (Tako Osawa) returns home to find his fiancee (Kou Shibasaki) gone, leaving behind over a cryptic note. To find her, Saku revisits his hometown and is overwhelmed by a tsunami of emotions as long-buried memories of his departed high school first love, Aki (Masami Nagasawa), come flashing back on a stormy afternoon reminiscent of a fateful day 17 years ago.

Renowned director Isao (Go, Love Letter) captures the tenderness of first love brilliantly by juxtaposing the present with the past. A lingering sadness permeates the film, but there is also a sense of hope - evident in a missing cassette tape that will soon reach its owner. The film certainly lives up to its reputation of being Japan's top-grossing romantic film and also one that "made the whole of Japan weep". The strong, likeable cast give their best, especially young newcomers Mirai (who plays young Saku) and Masami. Pretty Masami sparkles as the precocious Aki who teaches Saku how to love, while beady-eyed Mirai gives an emotional performance portraying the struggle of losing a loved one.

1 month passed. PTP's finally over. Hiro's back. =]

It's my 3rd booked-out actually, I'm just lazy to update my blog. *lol*
Time seems to fly so fast, I have 9 more weeks in BMT before I 'pass out'. Ever since I went in there, I have been thinking a lot. About my future, my family, all the friends around me... They seems more precious to me than before. I have learnt to treasure them more and not take things for granted.

"The value of material things diminishes when you have the freedom to have them. And the more you have, the less value you get out of them."

I saw these quotes from a local magazine and decided to quote it down. Very meaningful, another goes like this.

"Life is short, very very short. You have to grab your opportunities. I believe that the dreamer of today is the winner of tomorrow."

It's definitely not easy for a guy like me to be in the Army. Really tough. But I'm trying, I'm really trying, to make the best out of it. I wanna 'passed out' as a better guy than before, be it physically or mentally.

It's less than a merely of two days to my enlistment. Oh god. Yah, I don't know if I'm totally prepared for it but I know I will just have to face it somehow. =/ Say good-bye to my hair. ='(

Tomorrow Leong will be coming over to my house again to cook. Today was just a trial. Duh~ At night, will be meeting my pals HeatS' for a chit-chat session. After that, sleep, and Thursday will come eventually.

This is my final post before I'm getting enlist already, so I shall give it a long entry before leaving for training then. Here it goes, a little about me here and there. Yah, I know it will be bored for a long post. Please bear with me for a while, I seldom have long post one. =D

First of all, Fashion.

To me, Fashion is everything. Ever since last year, my Fashion style changes a lot. People who know me over the years can see my changes. I have 'shifted' to more Japanese side. (Yah, again it's Japan here Japan there. Heehee) I'm not that type that will just choose a piece of cloth and happily settle by it. Perhaps that's just me. A place where my interest lies in. I enjoy trying out new sets of clothes. Just give me a few pieces to do mix-and-match and I can give you back different looks. After dressing up for quite sometime, my advice for people is that, 'You must be daring enough to try new things, don't be afraid of what others may say about you, daring is the word'. Everytime I go out to town, I get people looking at me. Yup, it's true that some people may accept it to be style while others might not. But why care about it? Most important is that you must be satisfied with what your image portrays today. Not forgetting self-confidence. I can be someone who won't go out unless I get my matches right. Yeah, again most people will object to this kinda habit of mine. Probably that's why I'm still single today? *lol* Seriously, when will I ever meet my other half? I'm perfertly normal, and I'm also yearn to have a relationship. But I don't know for what reason that I'm still single. My expectations? My looks? My attitude? Hontoni wakanai. Zenzen wakanai.

Next, JLPT.

After I stopped working from May, which is about a month ago, I haven't been reading up my textbooks. Awww. Can't afford to slack any further. Have been wanting to take up JLPT don't know since when, but until now still hanging there. =/ It's tough, you know, trying to learn a language by ownself with the only help from books, books and books. Again, it's the interest and determination that keeps me going. No one understands what I'm saying at times, and it's depressing. I mean, how wonderful will it be if all my friends can speak or at least understand part of it. Never mind, you can't force people to do things that they don't like. I have a dream, a probably far-fetched dream, that I could actually have an apparel store by myself catering to only Japanese people located at town area. Yes, that will be so nice... =D~

Last but not least, HeatS'.

A very big 'Thank You' for all of you that keep HeatS' going. It's been around 5 years for us since we first started as a group. During this period of time, we met all sorts of people, problems and situations. I really don't know where to start to talk about. There are so many things that we enjoyed doing as a group. I don't wish to speak as the leader of the group here, because I feel that everyone is equal in the group. Each with his own ability, no one is the so-called 'extra' here. I appreciate at least the common respect that HeatS' give me, the chance to lead the group. Although at times I may have some sort of like an 'attitude problem', you guys still treat me as part of the group. It's not easy to be together in a lifetime for so long, and I hope that you all will treasure this bond of Friendship that we have. We might have internal conflicts sometimes, but people do make mistakes. Forgive and forget. That's how we live happier this way. Okay, Andre, Leslie, Leong, Teck and Jie, another final big appreciation from me, Sam.

Woah, the touching part have finally passed. =)

During these two years of training, I hope to at least get a JLPT level 1 cert. and my driving license at the end of it. (^.^) People told me that you will definitely change during days in National Service. I wonder how much will I change? Probably just a little I guess, can't be changing much, I'm hard to change. *lol* Eh. A leopard never really do changes its spots that easily yah. ;)

First Cooking Session~!

Yeah~! Leong and I have our first cooking session today at my house. Both of us knew nothing about cooking at all, but luckily it turned out to be not bad. *LOL* Actually Leong wanted to cook for Joanne, cause it's her birthday tomorrow, that's why we have to give it a try for the first time today. He chose to cook Fried Rice, cause it's a simple dish and quite a lot of people like it. Well, we managed to finish the whole plate up, didn't wasted any, so I guess that's still edible yah? *lol* The only flaws were, a bit too salty and a bit too hard. Eh. Okay lah, don't like that lah, first time cook leh. =P

[Movie Review] 予言. PREMONITION.

Here's a review of the upcoming Japanese Horror movie 'PREMONITION'. To be released on the 9th of June, eh, which is also my enlistment date. -.="

The second installment from the creative vision of renowned producer Taka Ichise, is PREMONITION – based on the cult classic comic book “Kyofu Shinbun” (Newspaper of Terror). Recently released as a double bill in Japan alongside INFECTION, the two films have collectively grossed close to $6 Million USD to date in their first few weeks of release in Japan.

While driving blissfully through the countryside with his wife and daughter, Hideki Satomi stops at a phone booth to send an email. There he discovers a scrap of newsprint with his daughter’s picture on it, and an article describing her death in a traffic accident. With a sense of horrible premonition and foreboding, he witnesses the terrifying automobile collision that had been accurately described in the article. The grieving father becomes obsessed with uncovering the mystery of the newspaper.

Three years later, Satomi has not recovered from his failure to prevent the accident that killed his daughter and subsequently destroyed his marriage. Although he tries to cling to sanity, he’s haunted by spectral visions of newspapers foretelling calamitous events in his community. When he receives yet another mysterious newspaper with an article predicting the horrific death of a young student, he vows to do everything to save her from the deadly prediction foretelling her death, and thereby saves himself.

It's all Shiba.

Today went to White Sands with Shiba and Leong, you might think that what's there to do at White Sands? Yah, there's really nothing to do at White Sands, if not for Shiba we won't be going there.

He saw this sweet lady the other time when we went there to the NTUC to buy something for our BBQ. She is working there as a store assistant. After that he decided that today shall be the day that he will mastered his courage and ask for her number.

Leong and I waited for Shiba to sort of 'get ready' for the action, but, in the end, this guy wasted our whole hour standing there doing nothing just waiting for his decision. After an hour, he simply just said 'wo kan hai shi suan le'. It's like What The Fuck lor. Waste my time and money. Leong wasted S$2.00 in Ez2DJ because of the 'sianness' + S$0.65 on the Fruit Juice + MRT & Bus fare S$ 0.95. S$3.60 in total. Dang it.

INFECTION was great! Japanese horrors are always the best horror movies. Special thanks to an old friend of mine who said that we didn't talk to each other like for a year plus? Yah, Andre's the guy who gave me the movie treat. Arigato ne. ;D

Speaking about that 'scary' time frame. A year plus? Did we really not speak to each other for a year plus already? *lol* I'm not the type that would like to bring up the past, what's more important is the present to me, and I'm happy that we are back as good friends again. =~D

Just left a mere month to my suffering days ahead. Will try to enjoy as much as possible, and meet up with a very interesting someone before I goes in. ;)

So many things happened in just 1 day...

So many things happened just on yesterday, be it a happy, heart-beating, sad, shocked or a memorable moment.

Was going to work as usual with the help of MRT, saw an old good friend of mine, Leong, and there goes both of us chatting together in the train trip. As always, he starts updating me with what's going on with our old group of people. Everyone seems getting along fine, but for Les, erm... was quite shocked to hear that news from Leong. Didn't expect that would happened, sigh...

Here's a pic of us done by Leong, a very big thank you to him for his effort. By looking at this pic really brings back many memories for me. Well, time flies, each of us have our things to do, but I'm still hoping to have a meet up with all of them once more as a group soon.

(Note. Eh? I just realised I haven't been taking a new pic for such a long time yah? *lol* No choice, not photogenic take already also no point right? =X)

Later on, during dinner break with my colleagues, my supervisor told me something which I feel rather quite depressing... He's one of my good buddies in MUJI and now he's leaving because of the same reason too. What happened to all the seniors in MUJI?

Nevertheless, there's heart-throbbing time. She's here in MUJI! Total of 5 times that I've seen her, 4 times in MUJI and 1 time in MRT station. *lol* Ahhh... Gorgeous is the only word I can think of right now to describe her... =P

I dress to DARE.

Saw this article few days ago in THE NEW PAPER. Well, our award-winning blogger in Asia clearly states out what does it mean by 'I dress to DARE'.

"DRESSING - the cloth kind, not the salad kind - is about the first thing people notice, and also the one thing that sets the first impression others have of you. (Unless you have something remarkable on other parts of your body - such as the third eye - like that fellow in Journey to the West.)

It's obvious that clothes are important, so why do Singaporeans dress so shabbily?
When I visited Hong Kong, I had a really pleasant time looking at the people there. Even just standing on the streets, one can be entertained by the outrageous clothes the girls, and even the guys, wear.

My friend was laughing at this girl who was in a satin red bomber jacket with a black-and-white polka-dot tank top within, and a green striped skirt above violently purple tights and fuchsia heels.

But I think individualism should be encouraged. As hideous as that outfit was, at least it says something about her.

In contrast, almost all Singaporean girls are skinny, rebonded, and clad in black tank tops and jeans.

For a change, they wear spaghetti strap tops with denim skirts and slippers. Wow! The variety startles me!

Let's take for example that series of T-shirts with the 'Me' word in the middle of different icons, that is smiley face, sad face, dull face, ME, angry face.

It was ironic because 'being me' is about individualism. But then everyone started wearing those T-shirts. The kopi boy was wearing one, my MRT carriage had three 'unique' individuals.

It made me wonder: Did they buy it to be different or the same?

Whenever I tell my friends that their dressing is boring, I hear excuses. Too hot, too cold, too expensive, too lazy... This vicious circle is not likely to change.

In Japan, for example, most girls take two hours to dress up before leaving the house. If someone went out without nice curls and thick mascara, she would be ostracised. So most Japanese girls make the effort to doll themselves up.

And, since all kinds of clothes are often in demand, prices will drop!

But in Singapore, if you wear boots, everyone stares. Too bad.

Clothes aside, I think Singaporeans are generally afraid to be different.

Anything too different from the cookie-cutter crowd is bound to spark criticism.

Hopefully, this boring-dressing phenomenon will stop soon. But since it is not likely to, can someone please pass me my tank top?"

Everyday wake up, go work, off work, back home. Same thing for the past few months. Kinda getting tired already, but it shall ends soon as I'm gonna just work till the end of this month. Will do whatever I want in this month of May, and June I'm going in for my NS. Yah, you didn't see that 2 letters wrongly, it is NS time for Hiro. -.-"
